My experience and qualifications

Bethany Wallace owner of Bethany Wallace Communications & Consulting

An expert in higher education, I worked for 12 years at four institutions as an English faculty member, teaching writing and communications courses, as director of career services, and as an academic advisor. I’m a professional writer, having learned from the best as Content Manager for College Recruiter, a technical writer for EDS/HP, and as writer/editor for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Additionally, I’ve garnered experience in sales, marketing, and non-profit management.

I earned my Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature at Arkansas Tech University and my Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Lyon College.

I serve children who need a safe, healthy place to call home as Development Associate for the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. I also conduct research with business partners, volunteer and serve in my community, and mentor young women.

My consulting business

I serve hundreds of amazing clients across the United States and Canada. I have partnered with incredible employers, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions to provide training, professional development programs, career coaching, keynote presentations, outplacement services, and executive coaching.

I’ve been featured on podcasts, including 10 Minute Mindset, Love Your Story, and Everyday Life. I have partnered with generous, kind, and brilliant research partners and colleagues and presented research and presentations at conferences and before small and large audiences, including talent acquisition/human resources professionals, high school and college students/faculty/staff, business owners and managers, and career services professionals and coaches.
